A considered whole
Last week saw a rare moment in front of the camera rather than behind the screen for me. A push outside of my comfort zone is seeing me upping my presence on social media and online. Something that I encourage my clients to do, and now I need to take some of my own advice!
As a graphic designer based in Hampshire, my work spans branding, print and digital design, with a focus on clarity and consistency - creating work that feels considered and aligned.
The space I work in plays its part. Both studio and home are environments shaped over time, and often commented on by those who visit. A long-standing interest in interiors has naturally influenced the way I approach design.
There’s a similar way of thinking across both. An awareness of balance, materials, colour and composition, but also something less obvious. The idea of a ‘red thread’; a subtle continuity that connects everything together, often quietly, but with intention.
It’s this sense of cohesion that feels most important. Not individual pieces in isolation, but how everything sits together, building something that feels calm, aligned and complete.
